REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured clear dark golden into a pint glass. Frothy white head, good lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Dank and hop-forward with citrus. Complementing malt. 4.75/5

Taste (40%): Follows the nose. Largely dank and hop-forward, with octane. Once dankness subsides, good citrus and citrus peel experience. Pleasing citrus bitterness sticks around. As the beer warms up a bit, everything balances out that much more. Good flavor. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, good carbonation. Slightly juicy with dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding Double IPA. It feels similar to the 2x4 Double IPA, but I thought this packed more punch despite fewer IBUs and a lower ABV. Still, it's a top-notch brew. Happy to have tried this one for science. 4.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.688/5
