REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured black into a pint glass. Frothy tan head, some lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Roasted, malty backbone. Pleasant cocoa and coffee presence. 4.25/5

Taste (40%): Follows the nose. Nutty, roasted malt experience amongst the cocoa and coffee. Slight complementing citrus bitterness qualities that mostly appear on the back end. 4.25/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Slight dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An excellent dark lager. Yup, my friend sent me another lager, and I'm a fan of this cocoa/coffee, roasted malt experience. Again, I'm not too familiar with this beer style, but it was delicious. My palate probably deceived me, but that citrus-type aftertaste really sold it. Solid recommend. 4.25/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.263/5
