REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, lots of sediment at the bottom of the can. Very frothy white head, trace lacing. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Mix of citrus/stone fruit, biscuity malt, and floral hop. 4.25/5

Taste (40%): Blend of malt, citrus, and floral hop. Took me a few sips to really get it all. Citrus gets more assertive on the aftertaste. Bitterness kept in check throughout. 4/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Slightly juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An awesome to excellent IPA. This should not be confused with the Pig War White IPA that I reviewed back in 2015. Today's logo looks cleaner and not as in-your-face with the can design. As for the beer itself, it has a good citrus presence and drinks fairly easy. For me, it would be a solid choice with typical menu items like nachos or burgers. 4/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.1/5
