What's on the Bottle: "With copious amounts of Mosaic hops added to the whirlpool of this Citra dry-hopped pale, tantalizing aromas of grapefruit and papaya vigorously waft out of the glass. The ale that follows is juicy and lavish; indicative of the house it is named after. This New England style pale ale won't make you bend the knee, but it might quench your thirst for vengeance."
Where distributed: Stormbreaker Brewing distributes in Oregon and could otherwise be found in the Pacific Northwest.
REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered; sediment at the bottom of the bottle. White head, trace lacing. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Pleasing tropical citrus, grapefruit, and papaya. 4.25/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose; probably more watered down than I would normally like, but the tropical comes through. Aftertaste includes light tropical grapefruit and papaya. 4/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Very juicy with slight dry tongue. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An awesome to excellent Pale Ale. The tropical is again the star here; and while this one seems more watery than some other Pale Ales I've had, it's extremely refreshing. 4/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.138/5
