Additions of flaked oats and wheat create a pillowy mouthfeel, and massive amounts of Mosaic and Citra hops provide a juice box of ripe mango, passionfruit, papaya, and pineapple flavors. REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered. White head, some lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Mostly dank/hoppy/lupulin, with hints of tropical citrus and stone fruit. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Slightly dank at the start, but the tropical citrus quickly takes center stage. Lots of citrus and stone fruit flavors. Complementing oaty and wheat malts. Aftertaste is a fairly assertive citrus tangerine/grapefruit. Any bitterness is limited to citrus peel. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium to medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding Double IPA. When I saw Melvin went into the hazy IPA game (even briefly), I had to buy it. While it's very dank and hoppy on the nose, it drinks more like a New England-style beer of the same ABV. Tasty and wonderful execution. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.575/5
