REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered; sediment at the bottom of the can. White head, some lacing. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Extremely juicy citrus and stone fruit with oaty malt background. Octane well hidden. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Mix of malt, slight octane, and tropical initially, then a wave of tropical citrus. Passion fruit, tangerine and mango, among others. Aftertaste is predominantly tropical with slight malt. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; some carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding Triple IPA. Another beer from a new brewery (to me, at least), and another delicious choice. Mirage classifies this as a Triple IPA, so I'll do the same. While the beginning of the sip reminds you it's 10% (or more), it's amazingly drinkable and full of fruity flavor. Happy panda is happy. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.538/5
