What's on the Website: "Third collaboration beer with Our Mutual Friend Brewing from Denver, Colorado.

We both share a passion for fruity, aromatic IPAs, but we make them quite often. This IPA distinguishes itself with a biscuity English Malt called Maris Otter to give a stronger Malt character than most modern IPAs, while still packing a big tropical peachy, citrusy hop profile. As fruity as this beer is, it still has a rather dry finish with a mild bitterness to round it out and prevent it from being overly sweet. Named for the knife made from the tooth of the sandworms in the Dune novels. Mostly because we're nerds, and also because these hazy IPAs have become one of our favorite styles, never to leave our side, like a trusty knife.  - David Coyne"

Where distributed: Fort George distributes just in the Pacific Northwest.

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy peach-colored into a pint glass. Unfiltered; lots of sediment at the bottom of the can. Frothy off-white head and excellent lacing. 4.75/5

Smell (25%): Mix of tropical stone fruit (peach, mango, papaya) with complementing oaty malts. 4.75/5

Taste (40%): Follows the nose; solid oaty malt backbone complements a wave of assertive tropical citrus and stone fruit. Peach and papaya mostly detected for me. Aftertaste is more tropical citrus and stone fruit. Extremely refreshing. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Very juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): A world-class IPA. So much flavorful tropical here. Peach is well represented and the malts give it a lovely body. Amazingly refreshing and makes me want to drink more. Fort George comes through with yet another kickass beer. 4.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.7/5
