What's on the Website/Bottle: "Geez - not another IPA! That's right, this is not just another IPA. Consider it a next generation IPA. A slightly sweet, lower ABV, IPA providing welcome relief from the onslaught of bitter hop bombs out there. REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured clear dark golden into a pint glass. White to off-white head. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Sweet tropical (melon and mango). Very pleasing. 4.25/5
Taste (40%): Tropical from the start, mainly mango and melon, with berry notes. Refreshing and flavorful. Not bitter to me. I'm a fan. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Slightly dry on the tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. This one had been on my radar for some time, as I've been a fan of Crux's beers and had yet to try this IPA. The melon, mango, and berry experience is a lovely break from the general West Coast-style IPA. The flavors are not too assertive and would make a quality session-like beer for me. Good stuff here. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.25/5
