REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, sediment at the bottom of the can. Frothy white head, good lacing. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Resinous tropical citrus and stone fruit with complementing oaty and wheat malts. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose; blend of resinous tropical initially, then the stone fruit takes over. More of a citrus-resiny aftertaste. Still refreshing despite being labeled at 8.25% ABV. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. As usual with most Great Notion beers, I'm a fan and would get it again. Tropical is the star and the resinous qualities bring it to the next level. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.475/5
