REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Pours hazy golden-light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, some sediment at the bottom of the can. White head, some lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Resinous tropical pulpy mango/stone fruit with fairly assertive oaty malts. 4.25/5

Taste (40%): Initially some octane, then resinous tropical stone fruit with assertive oaty malt. Citrus pulp and zest on the back end. 4/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied; good carbonation. Juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An awesome IPA. Unlike Simcoe Strata, this one flexes every bit of its 8.5% ABV tag. More octane here than I get on other 8.5% brews. Aroma came off better to me than the flavor. Citrus does hit on the back end, and I like the resinous notes here. 4/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.113/5
