What's on the Can/Website: "Activate the chaos-merkabah in these dark mirrors. Worship the black glass and the interior places! In this moment of worship we glorify Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops and we recognize the intensity of their character: ripe melon, sweet grape must, resinous citrus juice, and lychee syrup! V.I.T.R.I.O.L. This is the formula by which you will see the interior places! V.I.T.R.I.O.L."

Hops: Citra, Nelson Sauvin.

Where distributed: Foreign Objects is usually distributed in select states, but apparently may have different places where their beers are made. This one is apparently from Pennsylvania.

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Looks like pulpy orange juice. Unfiltered, tons of sediment suspended in the beer. White head; good lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Blend of grape, melon, resinous citrus, and lychee with complementing oaty malts. 4.25/5

Taste (40%): Mostly resinous citrus from start to finish. Wave of lychee and grape swoop in afterwards. Very pleasing tropical presence throughout. Aftertaste is a blend of grape and resinous citrus. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding IPA. I loved the resinous citrus and grape combination here. Fruity hops remain the star, and the resinous qualities provide that solid backbone for added enjoyment. 4.25/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.363/5
