REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Pours hazy golden-light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered; sediment at the bottom of the can. White head; trace lacing. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Predominantly tropical, more stone fruit and berry than citrus (but all are in there). Complementing oaty malts. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Follows nose, pleasing tropical stone fruit, berry, and citrus throughout. Good malt backbone that works with the fruitiness. Aftertaste is mostly citrus and citrus peel. Very refreshing. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; some carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding Double IPA. Tropical shines, per the usual qualities of Moonraker's beers. Big fan of the citrus aftertaste. It might be listed at 70 IBU but the only bitterness is of the citrus peel variety. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.488/5
