Galaxy, Motueka, & Calypso hops combine to create aromas of intense citrus meringue, ripe tropical fruit ambrosia, and a frighteningly sincere understanding that the only way out of subjectivity is through the Void! REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange-peach into a pint glass. Unfiltered; sediment suspended in the beer. White head; good lacing at the top of the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Excellent tropical citrus, stone fruit mango, and bubblegum, with complementing oaty malt. Of course, malt a bit more present than with In the Gold Dust Rush. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose (as always). Lots of tropical, ripe stone fruit, and bubblegum from start to finish. Malt backbone is there but still in a supporting role to the tropical. Very refreshing and juicy. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding Double IPA. For me, Foreign Objects has quickly established itself as another go-to brewery for New England-style IPAs. I wish they distributed to the Pacific NW, even occasionally. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.538/5
