REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Pours hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered. White head; good lacing on the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Soft tropical citrus and stone fruit, with some oaty malts. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Soft tropical citrus throughout, mixed in with some oaty and pilsner malts. To me, not as big a burst of flavor as the other two Lord Hobo offerings, but still very good. No hint of octane despite 8.8%. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An excellent Double IPA. It's the "least favorite" of the three Lord Hobo beers I've had, but still kickass when considering how crazy good the other two were. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.325/5
