REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Pours clear dark golden into a pint glass. White head, virtually no lacing. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Balanced malty citrus-berry experience. 4.25/5
Taste (40%): Octane-forward but otherwise follows the nose to start. Assertive malt, citrus, berry to match at the start. Aftertaste brings out more malt-citrus-berry. 4/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Full-bodied, some carbonation. Malty with some dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An awesome to excellent Double IPA. The second of three IPAs from Bell's that I've never had before, this still drinks fairly dangerous for 9.5% because the citrus and berry get highlighted so well. The octane is more noticeable as the beer warms, but if you're seeking a stronger IPA, this is a great one to try. 4/5
