Hops: Loral Cryo, El Dorado, Citra Cryo, Mandarina.

Where distributed: Maui Brewing distributes their beer to several states. Interestingly, some limited-release beers only get distributed to certain areas. Unknown how widespread the OMG Hazy IPA is distributed.

REVIEW:

Appearance (5%): Poured hazy dark golden to orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, sediment at the bottom of the can. White head, virtually no lacing. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Predominantly fruity, mix of orange, mango, and guava. Possibly a dank or slight octane feel mixed in. 4.25/5

Taste (40%): When the beer is colder, some octane up front, which threw me off for a bit. If warmer, it drinks way smoother. A couple seconds later, a citrus and fruity tidal wave of flavor, led by the orange and guava. Mostly orange and orange peel on the aftertaste. 4/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with almost no dry tongue. 4.75/5

Overall (20%): An awesome to excellent IPA. Whenever I see a hazy IPA, it's a virtual automatic buy or try for science. Slight octane aside, kudos overall for delivering a giant fruit bomb of a brew. 4/5
