REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, some sediment at the bottom of the can. White head, virtually no lacing. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Pleasing citrus and stone fruit. Some peach, pineapple, and orange. Slight complementing dank. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): At the start, follows the nose. Mostly pleasing citrus and stone fruit, while any in-check dank blends in wonderfully. Really drinks like a juice box - which was the name of its higher-ABV counterpart for a short time several years ago. 4.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Creamy and very juicy, some dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. From the beginning, I've enjoyed the regular Juice Jr. that Great Notion sells, and the fresh hop version is just as good to me. I always look forward to Fresh Hop season for beers like these: beer variants you can only get once a year. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.575/5
