What's on the Can: "Consider this Hazy IPA an open invitation to the tropical hop party of your dreams. Comet, Motueka, and Citra hops deliver off the wall notes of lemon lime and candied peach rings while a rich, orange haze and a pillowy soft mouthfeel with just the right amount of bitterness brings you back around the block for another sip."

Where distributed: Crux distributes to Oregon, Washington, parts of Idaho (around Boise), and parts of California (Bay Area and Humboldt County). Their beer has also been spotted in Japan and the Netherlands.

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden into a pint glass. Unfiltered, sediment at the bottom of the can. Very frothy white head, some lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): More of a Pilsner-style malt predominates, some fruity notes more relegated to the background. 3.75/5

Taste (40%): Fruity citrus blend of peach and lemon-lime, with complementing malt. A touch of orange citrus on the aftertaste. 4/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Creamy and juicy with slight dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): A decent IPA. After having some very memorable beers from Crux over the past several years, this one didn't quite hit that level. Hoped for a bit more fruit-forward experience, which I at least got with the aftertaste. Still a nice one to try at the end of the day. 4/5

Final Weighted Rating: 3.988/5
