REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, lots of sediment at the bottom of the can. Frothy white head, some lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Pleasing citrus tangerine and stone fruit with complementing dank and oaty notes. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): A controlled dank-citrus to start, then a citrus peel aura permeates the mouth. As it dissipates, there's more of a tangerine and stone fruit blend. Aftertaste is citrus pulpy. Tons of flavor. Citrus is the star here, bitterness kept in check. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. My friends took a trip to the Bay Area for good food and beer, and their travels led here. I was lucky they sent me a couple of cans to try for science (and yes, they also went to Russian River in nearby Santa Rosa). Kaleidoscope drinks ridiculously easy to where I couldn't tell it was 6.9%. If you love New England-style IPAs, this will be right up your alley. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.6/5
