REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden into a pint glass. Unfiltered. Frothy white head, virtually no lacing. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Mostly dank hoppy citrus and assertive complementing malt. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Assertive dank hoppy with noticeable octane straight out of the gate. Octane gives way to a wave of lemony grapefruit citrus that engulfs the mouth. Lovely citrus aftertaste. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Full-bodied, good carbonation. Sticky with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding Triple IPA. I haven't had a Triple IPA in a very long time, and Ex Novo hit it out of the park. Although I am now unable to get to all the awesome Triple IPA fests the Pacific NW usually has around wintertime, Triple Down Economics fills the void wonderfully. Sit back and enjoy the 1-2 punch of dank octane and citrus in this delightful 10% brew. 4.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.613/5
