REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light-orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered. Frothy white head, trace lacing. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Mostly pleasing tropical mango with complementing spices. As advertised. 4.25/5

Taste (40%): Tropical mango experience from start to finish. Spices (as noted without specificity in the brief description) are there and wonderfully complement. Hop bitterness is minimal, feels less than the stated 30 IBU. Drinks lighter than 6.7%, at least to me. 4.25/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. Bought this for the Back to the Future reference and glad I had this one. 1985 IPA brings the NE-style IPA flare with its juicy tropical nature. Perfect for warm weather. Probably one of those beers that can sneak up on you with the ABV because it goes down so nicely. 4.25/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.25/5
