REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured clear orange-amber into a pint glass. Off-white head. 4/5Smell (25%): Sweet tropical and malty qualities. Mango and apricot front and center. 3.75/5
Taste (40%): Hop-forward and sweet-malty at the outset. Nice apricot, mango, and other tropical flavors throughout. Ginger is not really noticeable to me. Eventually, you'll get hit with some alcoholic octane. It's good, but I'm largely indifferent to it here. 3.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-light bodied, with good carbonation. Tropical hops permeate the mouth. 4/5
Overall (20%): A solid IPA. Another beer that the spring produced that has a bit of kick to it, but stays rather light on the tongue. While this beer isn't anything mind-blowing to me, Dogfish Head continues its trend of sticking with balanced formulas in releasing another good seasonal IPA. 3.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 3.788/5
