What's on the Can: "If you like tropical drinks and getting caught in a heatwave, you just might love this intensely tropical Hazy IPA that's bursting with fruity hop aromas. The hints of pineapple, coconut, lime, and stone fruit are all from hops. Light pale in color with a thick haze and rich mouthfeel, this new Hazy is the perfect 'Caribbean' escape."

Where distributed: Crux distributes to Oregon, Washington, parts of Idaho (around Boise), and parts of California (Bay Area and Humboldt County). Their beer has also been spotted in Japan and the Netherlands.

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden into a pint glass. Sediment at the bottom of the can, which will make the beer extra hazy. Frothy white head, sudsy on the surface. Some lacing. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Slight dank/hop, with creamy coconut and stone fruit. 4/5

Taste (40%): Stone fruit and coconut at the start. Pineapple and lime come in the next wave, rounding out an overall tropical experience. To me, a POG-like aftertaste (passion orange-guava). 4.25/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Creamy and juicy with slight dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. Lovely depth of layered tropical flavors, and it drank easily for 7%. 4.25/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.188/5
