Smell (25%): Sweet, almost smoothie-like citrus. 4/5
Taste (40%): Sweet citrus throughout with very slight octane. Some earthy/grassy notes, but the aftertaste is all citrus/citrus peel. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Juicy with slight dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. Vice Beer appears to be a new brewery in the Pacific NW, opening up after I left the area. Loved the assertive citrus flavors on this one, and if this is their flagship IPA series, I hope to try more versions in the future. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.188/5
REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Initially poured partly-clear straw golden into a pint glass, then sediment from the bottom of the can turned it hazy. Sediment suspended in the beer. Frothy white head, some lacing. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Sweet, almost smoothie-like citrus. 4/5
