What's on the Can: "Intensely juicy. Irresistibly hazy. Freshly squeezed. No fruit was harmed in the making of this beer."
Commercial Description (from Untappd): "A hazy twist on your main squeeze, this juice bomb explodes with notes of orange citrus sweetness and a soft malt body."
Hops: Amarillo, Cashmere, Mandarina Bavaria, Bravo.
Where distributed: Deschutes distributes their beer to several U.S. states.
Smell (25%): Very juicy tropical fruit experience. Mostly citrus with slight dank/bitter notes. Soft malt. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Mostly orange citrus from start to finish. Maybe a bit of octane/dank at the end. It could have more intense citrus, in my book, but it's also a dangerously drinkable beer. I could probably drink a couple of these without flinching. 4/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Extremely juicy. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. If you like very juicy and low-bitter IPAs, this one is for you. I think Fresh Haze is a brew that might be best with delicate, non-overpowering food (yes, I tried it with spicy chips and could only taste the spicy chip afterward). 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.238/5
