REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured clear golden into a pint glass. Very frothy white head, some lacing. Effervescent. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Combination of hoppy pine and tropical fruit. For the tropical part, getting the grape, stone fruit, and a citrus grapefruit-type experience. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Assertive, yet controlled citrus-hoppy experience from start to finish. More of the white grape comes out as the beer warms up. Wonderful citrus aftertaste. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. I haven't had a Firestone Walker beer in years, and I didn't do much research in grabbing this one - frankly, I got it because the packaging and can design looked great. But wow, it's more than a pretty can. Thanks to the double dry-hopping process, Hopnosis is packed with tropical-hop flavor and is a beer I could drink every day. 4.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.625/5
