What's on the Website: "Utilizing brewing knowledge pulled from the four corners of the planet, Magnetic Fields will deliver a new IPA recipe to the Pacific Northwest every winter. This year features Juice yeast and a heavy amount of Azacca, Strata, and Citra dry-hopping, electrifying your senses with an array of pineapple, stone fruit, and nectarine aromas & flavors. IPA tastes may be polarizing, but Magnetic Fields brings North, South, East, and West together with the irresistible force of lupulin ecstasy.

This year's variation has a slight sweetness upfront with a balancing bitterness. Slightly dry finish with a full mouthfeel. Characterized by notes of peach, nectarine, and stone fruit with an opaque gold to orange color and bright white head."

Hops: Azacca, Citra, Strata.

Malts: 2-Row Barley, Weyermann Pilsner, White Wheat, Flaked Wheat, Flaked Oats, Oat Malt.

Where distributed: Fort George generally distributes just in the Pacific Northwest.

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered; lots of sediment at the bottom of the can. White head. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Pleasing stone fruit experience (peach, nectarine) with complementing oaty malt. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Resinous and dank experience to start. It is a slow transition to citrus stone fruit and citrus peel. Aftertaste is a blend of citrus and pilsner/oaty malt. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. Another successful beer from Fort George. I enjoyed the separate resinous and citrus waves Magnetic Fields has. Flavor bliss that pulls you back for another sip. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.475/5
