REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured mostly hazy orange-golden into a pint glass. Unfiltered. Frothy white head, good lacing. 4.5/5
Smell (25%): Balanced earthy/pine, stone fruit, and berry with assertive floral hops. 4/5
Taste (40%): More of a hoppy/earthy experience to start. Citrus and stone fruit try to come through after the initial wave (and also in the aftertaste), especially after the beer warmed up. Has a malty or slight octane taste to it as well. 3.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, good carbonation. Some stickiness and slight dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): A decent IPA. This fits more with the West Coast "hazy hybrid" IPAs, although as the beer warmed up a bit, the fruity components came through a lot more. Overall, I'll remember this more for the hoppy, earthy vibe instead of the fruity. I also really dig that can art. 3.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 3.9/5
