REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured clear golden into a pint glass. White head with trace lacing. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Blend of tropical melon, stone fruit, and pine with complementing hoppy notes. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Blend of malt, tropical, and pine throughout. Melon and stone fruit work well with the pine; if anything, the tropical comes through more. Hoppiness once again complements everything. Aftertaste is a tropical-hop blend. 4.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Juicy with slight dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. Another top-notch seasonal brew from Block 15 that I wish was available more often. Very balanced, with a bit more emphasis on the tropical, but all the other IPA components, from the hops to the pine to the malts, harmoniously work. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.563/5
