What's on the Can: "1st we brewed 'The Haze is Real' then 'The Juice is Real.' We saw all the comments asking posters 'Do these beers live up to the hype?' When all the answers were 'yes!' we knew it was time to combine both recipes and create 'The Hype is Real.' Keep Cold, Drink Fresh. Unfiltered and super hoppy, sediment is normal so let it settle and leave behind. Always pour into a glass. Cheers LCB Brewmaster!"

Where distributed: Local Craft Beer can be found in California.

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered; lots of sediment in the beer and at the bottom of the can. White head; some lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Copious tropical citrus, stone fruit, and possibly guava notes. Complementing oaty malts as usual. Just like the last beer reviewed (Flippin' Tables). 4.75/5

Taste (40%): A bit resinous-forward, then a wave of tropical citrus and stone fruit permeating the mouth. Tasty citrus continues into on the aftertaste. Highly refreshing. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, good carbonation. Extremely juicy with some dry tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding to world-class Double IPA. As good as Flippin' Tables was, this was better in my opinion. LCB always seems to come through with the tasty tropical hazy IPAs. 4.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.713/5
