REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Pours clear orange-golden into a pint glass. Some carbonation. Virtually no suds on the surface after slowly pouring at an angle. If poured more aggressively, I get a slightly off-white temporary head with a sudsy surface. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Refreshing citrus-grapefruit. Given my prior reviews on grapefruit beers, it is not surprising that I am a huge fan. 4.75/5

Taste (40%): Extremely clean grapefruit flavor. The alcohol tries to push its way through but the grapefruit keeps it in check. A faint lingering bitterness on the aftertaste. 4.25/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-light body. Extremely refreshing; ideal summer beer. Slight carbonation on the tongue. The initial sips left a slightly dry tongue. 4/5

Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. Always nice to support a local IPA option that uses grapefruit in a significant fashion. At 5.8%, it won't knock you off your feet like others might. I would love to kick back with a six-pack of this. An affordable option, as I can find a 22 oz. for about $5. I still prefer the Citrus Mistress option, in all honesty, but this is still a solid choice. 4.25/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.351/5
