What's on the Website: "3-Way IPA 2019 combines all of the fruit-forwardness of a hazy, but with that classic touch of bitterness you find in a West Coast IPA. The result is a bright, citrus fruit bomb that doesn't finish too heavy or sweet. And it also doesn't hold back on any of the hops.

"As an added layer to this year's collaboration, the dominant dry hop will rotate throughout 3-Way IPA season. You'll be able to see which hop is dominant by checking the bottom of your can. 3-Way IPA 2019 is a collaboration with Ruse Brewing and Cloudburst Brewing." Read more here!

Where Distributed: Fort George likely distributes this through the Pacific NW (OR, ID, WA).

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden into a pint glass. Unfiltered; lots of sediment at the bottom of the can. White head, some lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Juicy tangerine and grapefruit with peach and other stone fruit. Some lupulin/hops. Complementing oaty malts. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Blend of malt, hops, resin, and citrus grapefruit to start. Juicy tropical blossoms after that, engulfing the mouth. Aftertaste is more pulpy tropical citrus and stone fruit. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Very juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. Once again, Fort George knocks it out of the park with their 3-Way IPA collaboration. I love the hybrid of West Coast and East Coast styles here; very juicy tropical with a complementing hop presence. Proper balance. Not sure yet if I'll be reviewing any other 3-Way IPAs this year that have a different dominating hop, but I'm very happy with this one. 4.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.625/5
