What's on the Bottle: "While the size of the boot might be a bit small, the intensity of the hop flavor and aroma in Size 7 more than makes up for it. We take prodigious amounts of hops and add them any chance we get to this Northwest style IPA. If you ever call Size 7 balanced we'll kick you where it hurts (in the hop sack)."

What's on the Website: "While the size of the boot might be a bit small, the intensity of the hop flavor and aroma more than makes up for it. We take prodigious amounts of hops and add them any chance we get to this Pacific Northwest-style IPA. If you ever call Size 7 balanced we'll kick you where it hurts (in the hop sack). Big aroma and flavor of zesty orange peel, a dry and clean bitterness finishes in the most satisfying way possible." Read more here!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured clear golden into a pint glass. White head. Some lacing on the glass. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Basically a lot of tropical citrus hops. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Tropical citrus-hoppy experience all around. More of the citrus peel bitterness collects at the aftertaste, but nothing overly bitter for my taste buds. Overall, a very clean profile. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Feels sticky at first, then gets a bit dry on the tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. I could drink this one all day. This is one of those beers where it feels just right. It doesn't have too big a blast of hop or malt intensity, yet has just enough flavor to ensure you're not feeling ripped off. And frankly, at just $5 for this bottle, you'd probably have to hate West Coast-style IPAs to not get your money's worth. Two big thumbs up for Size 7! 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.475/5
