What's on the Bottle/Website: "A bad-ass 6.7% India Pale Ale designed by Steve Austin and ESBC for the working man & woman. It features Citra, Cascade, and Chinook hops to deliver big flavor with an easy finish. Not stop reading and start enjoying this awesome beer! Cheers! Steve" Read more here!

When brewed? Special beer collaboration with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Possibly limited time.

Where distributed: As of late May 2016, El Segundo Brewing ships their beer only to select markets in Southern California. They give a 6-week window for any beers on shelves, and will restock any beers that are past 90 days old. Check to see whether this beer can be found in your area!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured clear golden into a pint glass. Slightly off-white head which got very frothy. Looks incredible. 4.75/5

Smell (25%): Very hop-forward, with a bunch of grapefruit. Initial whiff also included tropical orange notes. A good amount of malt and floral in there to complement, not overwhelm. Actually gets very balanced. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Malt-forward with grapefruit and tropical qualities. Extremely smooth. More tropical as it gets to the aftertaste. Extremely refreshing and designed for warm weather enjoyment (if not year-round enjoyment). No alcohol detected; it stays very drinkable so you can down more of it. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, mostly due to the malt. The malt goes away fairly quickly and is replaced with refreshing tropical (grapefruit and orange). Some carbonation. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. Figure if Stone Cold himself endorses this beer and puts it on his website, it has to be top-notch stuff. Steve definitely knows his beers, and since we apparently both love IPAs, we probably would become fast friends. Not sure if he'd ever see this review (or my YouTube review), but if he does...HELL YEAH. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.513/5
