When brewed? Seasonal beer. Part of their "Flagship" Collaboration Series. It used to be known as Rainy Day IPA before a cease-and-desist letter forced a name change in 2015.

What's on the Bottle: "In the Pacific Northwest the weather can change at the drop of a hat. To help you prepare, we've crafted the perfect IPA to enjoy on a rainy day. This ale is savory and dank, with just enough toasted malt to balance the bitterness."

Where distributed: As of late June 2016, 3 Magnets Brewing ships just to the Pacific Northwest. I know they are at least found in Oregon and Washington. See if 3 Magnets ships to your area!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured clear golden into a pint glass. Frothy white head, with minimal lacing on the glass. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Tropical mango, grapefruit, other citrus notes. Dank and hoppy. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Dank-forward. Predominantly tropical and grapefruit juicy towards the middle of the experience, smooth through the aftertaste. Pleasing bitterness on the tongue. No alcohol detected here. Delicious. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; has that bitter-creamy mouthfeel on the tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. Again, 3 Magnets comes through with an awesome IPA for pure panda bliss. Frankly, the more I drink this, the more I enjoy it. The flavor fits that 7.2% ABV profile, yet is not too alcoholic, not too bitter, and certainly not too light for my palate. If you see this on the shelf and love IPAs, I wholeheartedly recommend getting it. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.5/5
