REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Pours a dark clear golden into a pint glass. Slightly off-white head reduces to a very sudsy surface. Leaves good lacing on the glass. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Citrus-grapefruit and pineapple aroma, hoppy, refreshing. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Refreshing balance of citrus (mainly getting grapefruit) and pine. Any bitterness does not stay around too long. It has a citrus-tart bite in the middle of the sip (after first flavors and before aftertaste). Still very clean flavors and straightforward. Amazing. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, slightly carbonated. Balanced and refreshing. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. As part of its four core beers, I had to try this one first and was not disappointed. Bengali has great balance, with flavor from start to finish, and is appealing in look and aroma. It is an ideal go-to beer for any situation or occasion. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.5/5
